Well after months of being totally consumed by everything to do with the development of White Mills Marina I am glad to report that work is now well underway, which is so totally exciting. As I type, not only are there two or three diggers working away but there are dumper trucks and other enormous 'bits of kit' too. The contract to create White Mills Marina has been awarded to Land and Water who are experts in the devleopment of marinas, so we are confident that we are going to end up with something that is very special indeed and a legacy that we can be proud of. The rate they are moving forward is amazing and we are still looking forward to the opening in October.
On the pet front, Hattie our labrador has had another litter of puppies. The litter consists of nine, four golden and five black, four bitches and five dogs, so there is a real mixture and the great news is that there is not a dillon amongst them. Hattie is doing a marvellous job in rearing them, and their eyes are just about open. As if nine puppies is not enough, we have also had another addition to the family in the form of Dizzy - a Jack Russell cross Norfolk terrier from Suffolk. We have had her a little over a month now, and she has turned our lives upside down with her cheeky and naughty personality, she really is living up to her name. Its great to have another terrier again, its been a long time, and you forget what fun they are.
