As ever, International Dawn Chorus Day is being held on the first Sunday of May, which means it is tomorrow 3rd May.  So don't forget to set your alarm clock for 4am and take a stroll outside with your cuppa to listen to one of the best symphonies of bird song that you are ever likely to experience.  We had a great walk around the reedbed (Quarry Walk) a couple of years ago with a terrific bird expert and it really was a lovely experience.  Mind you, I can not say we were up quite that early!
