Hazel and Hyacinth certainly gave their lambs a bit of a shock after they had their annual haircut today.  And it wasn't just the lambs that were a little confused, but Princess Alice was somewhat perplexed as well.  I can't believe how the lambs reacted, I think their faces say it all - I guess they have never known anything other than their mums heavily laden with lovely wool.  It must be strange to see them so bare. With the warm weather just on the horizon however, getting rid of those exceptionally heavy fleeces will ceratinly be be much appreciated as things hot up.

One of our little pups had to have a second look too!  It is hard to believe that in 10 days time they will all  be leaving us behind and starting their new lives..... we will miss them dreadfully, but feel relieved that they each have lovely countryside family homes to go to, which is exactly what we want for them.We had better make the most of them over the next few days.
