Pastures Farm has been the home of John and Debbie Skinner and their three sons Sam, Ben and Joe since 1984. Pastures Farm is a mixed farm, (animals and crops) with a few small industrial units which we introduced as our way of diversifying.  Like many farms, there is a ‘bit of everything’ on the farm, and we are always looking at branching out with new ideas.

Now that our sons are all living elsewhere our little family has been much reduced and now we share our home with Hattie our gorgeous black labrador and Dizzy the Jack Russell cross Norfolk from Suffolk, who we just love to bits! In fact this Spring she had her first litter of pups - there were only three bundles of joy which was super and absolutely enough for her to rear them so fabulously well. At one point I was going to keeo just one, then all three but in the end my head ruled my heart and they were matched with three fabulous homes.  Obviously there were tears when it was time to say goodbye to them all!

At the back of the farm we are lucky enough to have a stunning reedbed which has been opened up as a circular walk.  There really is nothing nicer than on a Summer's evening to take a stroll and enjoy all the sites and sounds of this delightful area.
